Matemwe Main Lodge consists of 12 bungalows all built from local materials and surrounded by beautiful lush gardens. The lodge is perched on top of a coral rock and is surrounded by great beaches, which also offer spectacular snorkeling and diving. 
Each guest room includes an en-suite bathroom, mosquito net, private verandah, as well as a hammock and couch to relax on whilst looking out onto the Indian Ocean.
Matemwe Main Lodge offers the very best in eating. Seafood is the specialty, with all produce bought daily from the local markets. Lunch is buffet style offering a wide variety of both African and European dishes. Dinner offers fish, meat and vegetarian options.
Matemwe also has a multi-level swimming pool where guests may relax on a lounge chair and soak up the sun, while being refreshed by a freshly mixed cocktail served from the poolside bar.
