Speke Bay Lodge is located on the southeast shore of Lake Victoria. It is built like a little village with 8 thatched roof bungalows providing two rooms each. Each room at Speke Bay is equipped with a custom made bed, mosquito net, lockable cupboardand writing table. There is also an en-suite bathroom with a hot shower and western toilet. Each bungalow boasts twin beds in the loft, which makes this a great choice for families. Guests can relax on their veranda and have breakfast served while enjoying the beautiful views.
Speke Bay Lodge has a bar, restaurant and
lounge in three buildings which are connected by a terrace. The food is made to order and can either be served at guest's bungalow or at a table on the terrace of the lounge. The cuisine is Tanzanian, with fruits and vegetables purchased from the local markets. Speke Bay Lodge is ideal for the mid-level traveler.
