As the great migration makes its way across the plains of Serengeti, so too does Olakira Mobile Camp. From mid December to March, the camp is located in the Ndutu area, as this is the magical calving season for zebra and wildebeest. During April and May, the camp is closed for maintenance. From June it opens again at a site where the Bolongonja River meets the Mara River, so that guests may get the chance to see the migration as it moves north. The camp stays at this site until mid December when it will move back to the Ndutu area.

Olakira Mobile Camp has 8 tents. The camp offers the perfect balance between an authentic, intimate bush camp and the luxuries of spacious, well-equipped bathrooms and large comfortable beds.
In the evening, guests can look forward to gathering around the campfire, chatting in the dining and library tent or enjoying a 3 course dinner under the stars…all with background music of the Serengeti.
