Scenically located amongst large boulders and known as ‘the place of the klipspringer' (mbuzi mawe), this unique luxury tented camp is guarded by three million year-old granite towers. It is cleverly located on one of the main annual migration corridors and at the very epicentre of one of the world's most famous national parks, the Serengeti.
Mbuzi Mawe boasts 16 widely-spaced luxury tents, reached by winding stone paths, all with ensuite bathrooms. Each tent stands on a stone platform and has its own thatched roof. Opening off the spacious bedroom is a tented bathroom which features twin basins, shower and flushed WC. The main bedroom area features two queen-sized four-poster beds, each with all encompassing mosquito nets. Each tent also boasts a seating area with stylish lamps and easy chairs. On the spacious private terrace are both safari chairs and sun loungers.
In addition to Mbuzi Mawe's luxurious accommodation, the camp also boasts a central mess tent, scenic safari bar with stone terrace, central fire-pit for watching the sun go down, a business center with WiFi and gift shop. There are also cultural dance and musical events held at the camp.
