Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is set on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater and is one of the most luxurious lodges in Tanzania.
The lodge consists of 30 rooms divided into three 'camps', all of which operate independently of each other. Each camp has its own central living area, dining room, bar and viewing decks overlooking the crater and giving guests a sense privacy and intimacy.
The lodge boasts very luxurious and individually designed suites, each with its own private deck, en-suite bathroom and private butler service.
Guests who want to take a "time out" from game driving may enjoy the lodge's library, indoor board games, communal dining and lounge areas. Bush walks around the lodge are also available.
The domed dining room, with its fireplace, crystal, silver and massive wooden platters, makes every meal a special occasion. Delicious Pan-African cuisine may also be enjoyed on the outdoor dining deck.
